Command Master Chief
CMDCM (AW/SW/IW) Monica L. Bolton

Command Master Chief Monica L. Bolton is a native of Chicago, IL. She joined the United States Navy in November 2001 and completed her basic training at the Recruit Training Center in Great Lakes, IL, in January 2002. After recruit training, Master Chief Bolton attended Information Systems Technician “A” School in Great Lakes.
Upon graduation, she was assigned to Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic as a traffic watch officer. Over her career, she has served in various roles, including at Tactical Air Squadron 21, where she deployed on the USS Nassau (LHA-4) and USS Gonzalez (DDG-66), as well as at Naval Computer Telecommunication Station Hampton Roads, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, USS George Washington (CVN-73), USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76), Naval Computer Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific, and USS Hopper (DDG-70).
In March 2022, she reported to USS Nantucket (LCS-27) as the Senior Enlisted Leader and was later selected as Command Master Chief. She reported to Helicopter Maritime Strike (HSM) Squadron 46 in October 2024. Academically, she holds a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a specialty in Forensic Psychology from Saint Leo University. She is also a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 223/Green) and the CMC/COB course. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate in Forensic Psychology at Walden University.
Her awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and numerous unit awards.
