What To Bring On The First Day

1.     Uniform:

• Enlisted: Service Uniform (SU)

• Officer: Khaki’s

2.     Copy of orders

• Bring to Combat Support Office to get stamped

3.     Performance Records

• Ex. Aircrew- NATOPS Jacket and Logbook

4.     Medical/ Dental Records

Information To Coordinate With Your Sponsor

1.     Check to make sure that they have put in an order for your nametags (ex.Flight suit patches/ service uniform name tag)

2.     Ask what required GMT training you will need to bring with/ could complete ahead of time (ex. Cyber Awareness, Driving for Life, Air Card Training, etc.)

3.     Verify your CITIBANK government travel card has not expired

4.     Aircrew- plan on bringing in your gear to the PR shop on your second day

5.     Coordinate with your sponsor where and when you should meet them when checking in:

• If your sponsor is not available to meet you for check in, make sure they have arranged for another member of VP-45 to escort you in if checking in on deployment, make sure your sponsor has coordinated with OPS what airport you will be flying into so the duty driver will be available to pick you up.
