Command Master Chief
CMDCM Deandre Beaufort
Master Chief Beaufort is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He graduated from Dillard High School Class of 1994; he completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illilnois, and Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Equipment “A” School in Millington, Tennennsee.
His tours of duty include: USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) in Norfolk, Virginia, and San Diego, California; Training Squadron (VT) 6 in Milton, Flordia; Navy Recruiting District in Montgomery, Alabama; USS George Washington (CVN 73) in Norfolk, Virginia; Naval Aviation Schools Command (NASC) in Pensacola, Florida; USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) in Norfolk, Virginia; and Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 103 in Virginia Beach, Virginia
In 2014, he was selected for the Command Senior Chief Program and advanced to command master chief (CMC). He served as the CMC for the World Famous “Jolly Rogers” of VFA-103, from December 2014 to March 2017; and for the Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 3 “Battle Axes” from March 2017 to March 2019.
He reported as CMC of USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) in February 2019.
Master Chief Beaufort holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and a Masters of Art Degree from Liberty University in Human Services with emphasis in Executive Leadership, and a minor in management from Coastline Community College.
His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards) and numerous other units and campaign awards. Master Chief Beaufort is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 178 Gray), and the CMC/COB course (Class 138) in Newport, Rhode Island.
