CMDCM (AW/SW/IW/EXW) Simone C. Milo

Master Chief Simone C. Milo hails from Port Arthur, Texas, where she graduated with honors from Thomas Jefferson High School in May of 1996.  She enlisted into the United States Navy shortly after graduation.  Upon completion of Recruit Training Command Great Lakes Chicago, IL she reported to Aviation Storekeeper “A” School in Meridian, Mississippi.
 
Master Chief Milo’s sea duty assignments include USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) Norfolk, VA; Command Logistic Force Naval Forces Central Command (CTF-53) Manama, Bahrain; USS Emory S. Land (AS-39) Agana, Guam; USS Wasp (LHD 1) Norfolk, VA and Sasebo, Japan.
 
Her shore assignments include Naval Air War Station in Point Mugu, CA; NRD Houston in Houston, TX; Naval Special Warfare Group 2/Seal Team 4 Virginia Beach, VA; SPAWARSYSCEN Norfolk, VA.  Her command senior chief tour was at USMEPCOM Nashville Tennessee from August 2018-December 2020.
 
Milo’s earned her Associates of Applied Science Degree in IT Networking from ECPI University, and is currently enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University working towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership.  She is also a graduate of the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 207 Gold), and CMC/COB Course (Class 188), both in Newport, Rhode Island.
 
Milo’s personal awards and decorations include a Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal (2 Awards), Navy Commendation Medal (3 Awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 Awards), Army Achievement Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteering Service Medal, and various other unit and campaign awards.  She is qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare Specialist, and Enlisted Information Dominance Warfare Specialist.
 
She reported onboard as the command master chief of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 74 Jacksonville, FL in December 2020.
