Congratulations on your orders to HSC-11. Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron ELEVEN was established on 27 June 1957 at Naval Air Station (NAS) Quonset Point, Rhode Island. Flying the HSS-1 Seabat helicopter, the squadron’s primary mission was Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) utilizing the Seabat’s dipping sonar. The HS-11 "Sub Seekers" were assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 52 (CVSG-52) with the tail code AS and deployed onboard USS WASP (CVS 18).

Arriving by Plane: Prior to arriving at the airport please contact your sponsor to coordinate transportation. Transportation can also be coordinated through the Military Information Booth located on the first level of the Arrivals Terminal (baggage claim) , (757) 444-3040. The USO Welcome Center is also available on the second level of the Arrivals Terminal (baggage claim), (757) 233-0567. Operating hours for the USO are 0900-2359 everyday.
