Congratulations on your assignment to the "JOLLY ROGERS" of Strike Fighter Squadron ONE ZERO THREE!  Welcome to the finest and most capable fighting unit in the Navy.

We are excited to have you join the squadron and look forward to your arrival.  As illustrated by our command history, the Jolly Rogers legacy dates to the earliest days of carrier aviation.  VFA-103 carries on the Jolly Roger’s tradition flying the Navy's premier Strike Fighter aircraft, the F/A-18F "Rhino."  The squadron is assigned to Carrier Air Wing SEVEN, based ashore at Naval Air Station Oceana in beautiful Virginia Beach, VA.  We deploy aboard the USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH (CVN 76), homeported at nearby Naval Station Norfolk.

You will be assigned a sponsor who will help you make a smooth transition to the command and the local area.  Your sponsor's name and contact information will be provided to you in your welcome aboard letter and message from the Commanding Officer.  Additionally, if you have further questions, please contact the command at (757) 433-4349 and we will work to assist you in any way possible.
