Ms. Terri Farricker
The daughter of a career Naval Officer, Mrs. Farricker is a native of State College, Pennsylvania, but lived all over the world prior to graduating from James Madison University in 2003, earning two Bachelors of Arts Degrees in History and Modern Foreign Languages.
In 2003, Mrs. Farricker began her career working for the Department of Defense. She was immediately hired to work as an analyst at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Following her time at DARPA, she went to work for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to conduct threat assessments throughout the United States. At U. S. Fleet Forces Command, she served as the assistant lead for Command Taskers and as Executive Aide to the Director, N8 Fleet Capabilities and Force Development. Following her time at U.S. Fleet Forces Command, she transferred to Navy Region Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia, located in Naples, Italy, as the lead for all Individual Augmentation (IA) requirements, sourcing and policies for active duty, reserve and civilian personnel reporting to the expeditionary areas in the Commander, Fifth Fleet Area of Responsibility.
In 2014, she began her career with the Navy Inspector General. She was an analyst in the Office of the Inspector General for Commander, Naval Air Forces (2014-2016), the Inspector General for Naval Base Coronado/North Island (2016-2018), where she executed her duties across seven installations, the Inspector General for Naval Station Mayport and Southeast Region Maintenance Center, and the Hotline Program Manager for Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center in Naples, Italy (2018-2020). She has specialized in investigations, inspections and the Navy’s managers' internal control (MIC) program.
Currently, she is the Inspector General, Commander, Naval Air Forces Atlantic, she serves as an independent and objective advisor to inspect, investigate, or inquire into matters of importance to the Department of the Navy with respect to fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, and command operations.
She is a certified and credentialed Investigator. Her personal awards include the Meritorious Civilian Service Medal.
