Congratulations on your orders to Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility, Virginia Capes (FACSFAC VACAPES)!
Upon your arrival to FACSFAC VACAPES, report in appropriate dress uniform, regulation haircut, with orders in hand to:

Virginia Beach, VA 23460

Arriving by car:

If arriving by car, proceed eastbound on I-264.  Take FIRST COLONIAL ROAD EXIT, Exit 21A, and turn right heading southbound.  First Colonial Rd will turn into Oceana Blvd.  Follow Oceana Blvd for approximately two miles.  FACSFAC VACAPES will be on your right.  (There will be a large radar tower and an F-14 Tomcat as landmarks).  To enter the compound, you will need to stop at the sentry shack, and press the call button. Prepare to present your military ID to the camera. Someone will respond to your request and grant you access.

Arriving by plane to Norfolk International Airport (ORF):

 Norfolk International Airport is located 20 miles west of FACSFAC VACAPES.  Prior to arriving at the airport, contact your sponsor to coordinate transportation.

Check-in Procedures:

New personnel are strongly advised to contact their sponsor prior to check-in.  When checking in during working hours (0700-1500 Monday through Friday), new check-ins should proceed through the Quarterdeck to Admin.
If you arrive during non-working hours, proceed to the Quarterdeck and check in with the CDO. The CDO can be contacted at 757-705-7192. Ensure they endorse your orders for the date and time you arrived at the command.  Report to Admin during the next normal working day.
To contact Admin prior to check-in, please call 757.433.1242.  To contact the Quarterdeck, please call 757.433.1211.
