VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (June 14, 2021) Rear Adm. John F. Meier, Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic, taxis in an E-2D Hawkeye, assigned to Airborne Command and Control Squadron (VAW) 120. Meier visited VAW-120 to learn the about the pilot training process and capabilities of the E-2D Hawkeye. VAW- 120’s mission is to fly and train naval aviators, naval flight officers and naval aircrewmen to safely and effectively operate E-2 and C-2 aircraft.
