CMDCM (AW/SW/IW) Tiffanie C. Simpson
Command Master Chief Tiffanie C. Simpson is a native of Pennsylvania and enlisted in the U.S. Navy May 1998. Following Basic Training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois she reported to Naval Air Station Meridian, Mississippi for Aviation Maintenance Administrationman “A” School.
Sea duty assignments include: Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 14; Helicopter Combat Support Squadron (HC) 4; USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69); Patrol Squadron (VP) 47; Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 81; USS Hershel Woody Williams (ESB 4).
Shore duty assignments include: Strategic Communications Wing One, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT), Atsugi, Japan; Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC), Norfolk, Virginia.
Selected for the Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) program in 2018 and a graduate of Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Class 19080, she is currently serving as Airborne Command and Control Squadron (VAW) 123’s command master chief.
Throughout her career she has completed combat deployments in the Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Fleet areas of responsibility and participated in Operations Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Tomodachi, Active Endeavor, Juniper Shield, Inherent Resolve, and numerous Multi-National Exercises.
Simpson’s personal qualifications and awards include the Enlisted Aviation, Enlisted Surface, and Enlisted Information Warfare Specialist designations; Meritorious Service Medal, five Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, five Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, an Army Achievement Medal, and various unit and campaign awards. She is a graduate of Senior Enlisted Academy Class 192 “Orange” and holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts Degree from Saint Leo University.
