What is an FRG?

FRG stands for Family Readiness Group. The FRG is used to provide support to command families, build up command morale, and provide a network to help families connect with one another. 
 
RED RIPPER FRG MISSION STATEMENT

"The Red Ripper (VFA 11) FRG is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to plan, coordinate, and conduct social, informational, care-taking and morale-building activities to enhance family readiness and enable the FRG to meet mission and military family lifestyle challenges.  The FRG shall promote friendship and mutual support among members."
