CMDCM Alan K. Carmona
Command Master Chief Keith Carmona a native of Wakulla, Florida, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May 1998 and completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois and Aviation Electronics Technician “A” school at Naval Aviation Technical Training Command, Pensacola, Florida.
He is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 208-Blue) and the command master chief course in Newport, Rhode Island. He has earned the Aviation Warfare, Surface Warfare, Information Warfare and Master Training Specialist designations.
Master Chief Carmona’s sea and operational assignments include: Fighter Squadron (VF) 101 stationed at Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana, Virginia; Helicopter Combat Support Squadron (HC) 5 based on Andersen Air Force Base, Guam; Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 14 assigned to NAS Lemoore, California; and Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 136 at NAS Whidbey Island, Washington.
His shore tours include Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Department at NAS Keflavik, Iceland; Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois; Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit onboard NAS Whidbey Island, Washington; Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Headquarters at NAS Pensacola, Florida; and Navy Talent Acquisition Group New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is currently the command master chief at Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 37 stationed onboard Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana, Virginia.
Master Chief Carmona’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3); the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6); and other personal, unit and service decorations.
