 CMDCM Torice O. Sullivan


CMDCM Torice O. SullivanMaster Chief Sullivan is a native of Georgia.  He enlisted in the Navy in 1995 and completed Gunner’s Mate ‘A’ School training in September 1995 at Navy Training Center, Great Lakes Illinois.
 
His first tour of duty was USS Spruance (DD-963) in Jacksonville, Florida where he served as STRIKE Division Leading Petty Officer.  He qualified ESWS and Combat Systems Officer of the Watch. Upon completion of a 6 year tour onboard Spruance, he transferred to NAS Pensacola Police Department where he served 3 years as Leading Petty Officer for Armory Department and qualified as Field Training Officer.  This tour was followed by a tour of duty at MESRON 3 Det Bahrain.  He advanced to Chief Petty Officer during this tour and served as Weapons Departmental LCPO and qualified as Expeditionary Warfare Specialist.
 
In 2007 he transferred to USS Stethem (DDG-63) in Yokosuka Japan.  During his tour he served as CM and CG DIV LCPO.  In 2010, he reported to Maritime Civil Affairs and Security Training Command in Norfolk, Virginia, where he served as Weapons Division Leading Chief Petty Officer and later as Training Departmental Leading Chief Petty Officer.  During his tour he re-qualified Expeditionary Warfare.  In July 2013, he reported to USS Vella Gulf (CG-72) where he served as Weapons Departmental Leading Chief Petty Officer and qualified SUWC, UNREP Safety, Deck Safety, and requalified ESWS.  He advanced to Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2015.
 
In September 2016, he attended Naval Instructor Training School and reported to CSCS Det East as SEL and the Lead instructor for LAMPS Ordnance and Magazine Sprinkler courses.  In 2017 he was selected for Command Senior Chief.  May 2017 he attended the Senior Enlisted Academy in Newport, Rhode Island. 2018 he attended the COB/CMC course reported to Beachmasters Unit TWO on JEB Little Creek where he was advanced to CMDCM in 2019.
 
June of 2020 he reported to VFA-81.
 
His personal awards consist of the Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards), Navy Marine Corps Commendation (4 awards), Navy Achievement Medal (4 awards) and other unit awards.
