CMDCM  Aaron J. Davis

Master Chief Aaron Davis is a native of Des Moines, Iowa and he enlisted in the Navy on October 24th, 1996. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes he reported to ATD to obtain his basic knowledge of seamanship. After completion of ATD, He reported to USS Nimitz, where he spent his first 5 years in Deck Department and completed one deployment and Refueling Complex Overhaul. While on Nimitz he earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification and advanced to Third Class Petty Officer.
 
In 2001 he reported to COMPACFLT Boathouse in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. While at the Boathouse, he was the barge coxswain for Admiral Thomas Fargo, Admiral Walter Doran, and Admiral Jonathan Greenert and was advanced to Second Class Petty Officer.
 
In July 2004, he checked into Mobile Security Squadron 6 Boat Detachment 612. While attached to Boat Detachment 612, he was deployed three times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.  While deployed, he served as Tactical Supervisor for Embarked Security Teams, Mission Commander on KAAOT (Iraq Oil Terminal), and LCPO and Patrol Leader in the UAE. He was advanced to Petty Officer First Class and Chief Petty Officer while at Squadron 6, and he earned his Small Craft Insignia and Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare Specialist qualification.
 
In June 2009, he transferred to Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Atlantic (EWTGLANT) where he was the Command Career Counselor, Suicide Prevention coordinator, and Equal Opportunity Representative. In 2012, he graduated from Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Craftmaster School then checked into Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4 and completed two deployments on USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) and USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) earning his Enlisted Information Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist qualifications and advanced to Senior Chief Petty Officer.
 
In February of 2019, he reported back to EWTGLANT as a Craftmaster instructor and N9 LCPO.  Master Chief Davis was selected as a Command Senior Chief in March of 2019 and immediately selected for orders as Command Senior Chief of Billings Blue (LCS 15) in June 2019 and advanced to Master Chief Petty Officer. After he was selected to Master Chief, he transferred to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 11 where he completed a deployment on the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).  He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy, and CMC/COB Class 2019. Davis Reported to Team Battle Axe of CVW-3 in July 2024, where he currently serves as the Command Master Chief.
