Cmdr. Kallie "KFR" Rose
Cmdr. Kallie M. Rose, a native of Ocala, Florida, graduated from the University of Florida in 2005 with a B.A. in Political Science and received her commission through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps. She was designated a Naval Flight Officer in January 2008.
Rose first served operationally with Airborne Command & Control Squadron (VAW) 126 and deployed in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn aboard USS Harry S Truman (CVN 75). She then reported to VAW-120 as an E-2 Hawkeye instructor and subsequently served as flag aide to Commander, Naval Safety Center. Rose next deployed as a department head with VAW-124 aboard USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
Rose’s staff tours include time served at Joint Staff J35 as orders writer and headquarters joint working group lead.
Cmdr. Rose is authorized to wear the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal (two Strike/Flight), Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Achievement Medal (two awards), as well as various unit and campaign awards.
