Welcome Aboard

As the commanding officer, I would like to personally extend a hearty "Welcome Aboard" and convey how pleased I am that you are joining the Seahawks.  I am certain you will find your tour here challenging, rewarding, and enjoyable.
The squadron is currently assigned to Commander, Carrier Air Wing ONE (CVW-1) flying the newest airborne command & control​​​​​​​ platform: the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye.  You will find we are highly motivated and I believe the finest squadron in all of naval aviation.  We look forward to the expertise you will bring to the Seahawks.

Your sponsor will be available if you have any questions about the squadron during your transfer.  You may contact him or her via e-mail.
If you have a spouse, her or his questions can be answered by our command ombudsman or our command master chief.

Seahawk Vision
WE WILL ROUTINELY PROVIDE THE FINEST COMMAND AND CONTROL ANYWHERE AND ANYTIME WE ARE NEEDED. THE SEAHAWKS WILL GAIN THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PROFICIENCY IN THE E-2D ADVANCED HAWKEYE, AND BRING THAT PROFICIENCY TO FUTURE ASSIGNMENTS.

•  WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG OR NOT AS EXPECTED - WE WILL LEARN FROM IT!
•  WE WILL PREPARE OUR FAMILIES FOR DETACHMENTS, OPERATIONS AT SEA, DEPLOYMENT, AND HOMECOMING.
