Fleet Replacement Pilots (FRP)

Congratulations on your recent winging and selection to the Mine Countermeasures Squadron community!
 
Please contact HM-12 training officer once you receive your orders for any special instructions that may need to be addressed prior to your arrival. The training officer can be reached at (757) 322-2163.

You will report to HM-12 as a Category I Fleet Replacement Pilot (FRP) and will progress through a Ground Phase, Simulator Phase, and Flight Phase of training. If you do not have an intermediate stop at SERE in your orders you can expect to complete SERE after graduation.

After completing your MH-53E FRP training syllabus, you will receive orders to the HM-15 Blackhawks, located aboard Naval Station Norfolk.

Upon arrival, you are directed to report to the HM-12 Quarterdeck, 1st deck, Hangar SP-36 to get your orders stamped. You should then proceed upstairs to the Administration Office on the 2nd deck to continue with the check-in process.  As a reminder, your first day of any check-in should be conducted in khakis.
